    IS LASIK OR CUSTOM LASIK BETTER?

    The difference between traditional LASIK and custom LASIK is in custom LASIK’s use of wavefront technology to create a digital, 3-D map of your eye that is used in guiding the laser.

    CUSTOM LASIK

    Custom LASIK differs slightly from traditional LASIK in the use of wavefront technology. Wavefront is used to measure how light travels through your eyes and produce a digital, 3-D map of your eye. This map highlights areas of distortion—or aberrations—in your eye.
