Am I A Candidate for LASIK?

You may be a good candidate for LASIK surgery if you meet the following criteria:

• You are at least 18 years old
• Your vision/prescription has been stable for at least one year
• Your eyes are otherwise healthy
• Your corneas must have sufficient thickness
• You have no evidence of collagen vascular or autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, etc)
• You are not pregnant or nursing
• You do not have a recent history of herpes infection of the eye
