You may be a good candidate for LASIK surgery if you meet the following criteria:

You are at least 18 years old
Your vision/prescription has been stable for at least one year
Your eyes are otherwise healthy
Your corneas must have sufficient thickness
You have no evidence of collagen vascular or autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, etc)
You are not pregnant or nursing
You do not have a recent history of herpes infection of the eye
